Do not Blow Dry

Under no circumstances should the mehndi be blown-dried after application. Although you may think that doing this will speed up the drying process, it could smudge and ruin the design.

Do not Shave or Wax

It is not allowed to shave or wax your arms following the application of mehndi. Because shaving removes the top layer of skin, there’s a chance the mehndi will appear faded.

Enhance Your Stain with Lemon

You can use a cotton ball to apply a paste made of equal parts sugar and lemon to the dried mehandi. By doing this, the paste would cling to your skin.

Cover Your Hand with a Bandage

You can apply a bandage to your hand before going to bed to stop your Mehandi from smudging.
